By law\, a majority o f the members must be persons who are parents of students enrolled in the district and who are not employed by the district. The AISD SHAC is made u p of parents\, community members\, students\, and school staff working tog ether to improve the health of all students and families through coordinat ed school health programs. The AISD School Health Advisory Cou ncil meets on a Wednesday of every month\, with the exception of July and August\, from 6:00鈥�7:30 p.m. Meetings will be held in a training room at the new AISD Headquarters located at 4000 S. IH-35 Frontage Road\, 78704 unless otherwise noted. Membership to the SHAC is by annual school board a ppointment.
